Can I import commission statments from product providers and reconcile commissions?

Yes - S3B has full import functionality of commission statements from all product providers (Life, Medical Aid & Short Term). An electronic commission statement is required to automatically import a commission statement or you can capture manually from a paper based statement and still process commission splits.

Can I reconcile commission statements with expected commission?

Yes - S3B caters for all product provider commission formulae to be stored in the system. If the formulae has been recored, it calculates the expected commission amount (1st and 2nd yrs) and checks the actual figures received. A report can then be produced listing all policies where the commission received does not match the expected commission figure. 

Can S3B handle specific commission splits for different contracts?

Yes - S3B caters for commission splits, per commission type per individual contract/category. Once the brokerage has defined their customised commission types and contracts/categories, the commission split percentages per commission type and category would be set-up.

Can S3B manage broker hierarchies commission splits?

Yes - Up to 3 levels of management.

Can I manage brokers reserve/retention accounts in S3B?

Yes - A specific retention percentage can be deducted, per commission type, and stored until payout date. 

Can I access S3B from my home?

Yes - S3B is a web based application and as long as you have permission to access your server you will be able to log-in and work on the system from anywhere, anytime.

Do we need to load the application on all of our machines?

No - Being a web application you only need to load S3B on your server machine. All other machines can access the system via their internet browser

Can I manage all life, medical aid & short term company products & clients in S3B?

Yes - S3B allows you to manage all company products & clients in the system. Should a new company and or company product be launched you are able to add this easliy into the system.

Do you provide training for all the administrative staff that would use the system?

Yes - Full training on the entire system is provided after the installation and set-up are complete.

Some of the information in my brokerage is confidential, will all my staff have access to all the information in S3B?

No - S3B has a comprehensive security module built into the system. Staff members will be assigned to specific roles and each role has a list of permissions allowing you to select what information can be view and/or edited by which staff members. If a staff member does not have access to commissions for example, the commission tab will not even appear on their home page when they log in.

Can documents be stored electronically in S3B?

Yes - Once a document has been scanned, it can be stored under a specific client or policy ensuring you can easily find and retrieve it when required.

Can I record all communication contacts I have with my clients in case I need to refer back to what was discussed and decided on?

Yes - All communications with clients can be stored in S3B in the CRM (customer relationship management) module. Once a communication entry has been captured, it cannot be edited in any way ensuring credibility. You can also record follow-up tasks with deadline dates to remind you to follow up.

Can I download reports from S3B?

Yes - S3B offers an extensive range of reports with filter criteria allowing you to select a specific report ranging from new business submitted, issued, commission received, outstanding, lapsed etc etc

Can I afford S3B? - I am a small 3 person brokerage, I am a large 300 person brokerage

Yes - S3B pricing works off a small monthly licence fee which includes up to five user instances and thereafter a minimal fee per user instance making it affordable for small, medium and large brokerages.

What is a user instance?

A user instance refers to any person (manager, admin staff member, representative etc) who will use or be tracked in S3B.

How much will it cost me to update the initial set-up if required?

Nothing - S3B has been designed in such a way that you can fully administer the system from your office as and when you need to. If you do not want to administer the system yourself a S3B team member will be glad to assist you at an affordable hourly rate.

Do I have to pay for all my ex-intermediaries/reps?

No - You only have to pay for your current intermediaries/reps. 

I am already using a software system but it does not offer many of the features and benefits provided by S3B, can my existing data be transferred to S3B?

Yes - All information can be transferred to S3B. A quote will be provided to move your existing information.
